Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I earn points at The Duck Store?

    You earn one point for every dollar you spend on qualifying transactions. Almost all items from The Duck Store and UODuckStore.com qualify for points including Oregon Ducks apparel, textbooks, art supplies, food and coffee.

    For transactions to apply, they must be associated with your customer account. When shopping at UODuckStore.com, sign in before completing your purchase (purchases made when checking out as a guest do not qualify). When shopping in-store, our team member will ask for the email address or phone number you associated with your account.

    The points earned for a transaction equals the amount spent after coupons and discounts are applied but before taxes and shipping charges.

  • Do points expire?

    Yes. Points are earned on an annual basis (January 1 - December 31). Your points balance will reset at the beginning of the year.

  • How do I receive my reward?

    If you have earned at least 200 points between January 1 and December 31, your total points accumulated during that year will be tallied and 5% of that amount will be issued to you in Duck Store credit on or around January 27 of the following year. Store credit will be sent to the email address associated with your account along with instructions on how to use it. Credit can be used at any Duck Store location or at UODuckStore.com.

  • Does my reward expire?

    Yes. Store credit issued in January of a given year may be used through June 30 of the same year. Unused credit will be deactivated on June 30 at 11:59 PM PST. Store credit has no cash value and cannot be cashed out.

  • What can I purchase with my reward?

    Store credit issued as a reward may be used on any item at any Duck Store location, including Oregon Ducks merchandise, art supplies, technology, coffee, food, and course materials.

  • Who is eligible to participate?

    The Duck Store Rewards is open to all customers in the United States.

    Rewards accounts are available for individuals only — business/organizational and University of Oregon department accounts are excluded from earning rewards.

  • What items are excluded from earning points?

    Almost all items at The Duck Store qualify for points. Items sold on behalf of other groups or businesses (i.e. consignment items) are excluded.

  • What happens when I make a return as a member?

    When your return is processed, the amount returned will be deducted from your points balance.

  • I have two separate accounts. How do I merge them?

    Customer accounts that use the same email address will be merged automatically. Accounts using different email addresses are unable to be merged. Make sure to use the email address associated with your preferred account when shopping in-store or online.

  • Where can I see my points balance?

    Sign in at UODuckStore.com. You can see your current points on the My Account page.

  • When will I get points for my product review?

    Product reviews undergo an approval process before displaying on the website. Typically, approvals take 2-3 days. Once your product review has been approved, you will see your points display in your account within 1-2 days.

    Note: product reviews are subject to approval. The Duck Store reserves the right to approve and publish product reviews.

  • How does The Duck Store use my data?

    We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when its release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.
