The Duck Store has partnered with certified, local service providers in the Eugene area to provide convenient hardware repair resources for students.

The Duck Store Technology Department will evaluate your equipment needs and, depending on your equipment and the warranty status, will either offer on-site repair intake or refer you to the appropriate local resource. Our service partners include: MacTonic, Pro-Tech, Simply Mac, and Safeware. Call us today for advice on your hardware repair service needs.


Apple Hardware Services and Repair

Apple Services such as data transfers, backups, and virus removal may be handled at Mac Tonic, conveniently located just a few blocks away at 98 E. 13th Avenue. Please contact MacTonic for services pricing at (541) 684-8388.

Apple Computer or iPad with Apple Warranty Coverage: Please contact AppleCare at 1-800-800-2775. The Duck Store can help facilitate these calls at the store, with the customer present. In-town service can be provided at local Apple Authorized Warranty Service Provider, SimplyMac, for no out of pocket expense. You can contact SimplyMac at (541) 343-1434. SimplyMac is located at the Valley River Center mall.

Apple Laptop or iPad with Safeware Extended Service Plan Coverage: If your Apple device is past the one-year Apple warranty coverage period, or the repair involves accidental damage, The Duck Store will facilitate a mail-in repair/exchange claim to Safeware, for no out of pocket expense. Alternately, Safeware Apple claims may be handled locally at local Safeware service provider, Mac Tonic. Contact Mac Tonic at (541) 343-1434 to schedule your service.

PC Hardware Services and Repair

PC Services such as data transfers, backups, and virus removal may be handled by Pro-Tech Computer Services, with convenient pickup and drop-off at the Duck Store. All fees for Pro-Tech computer services may be paid at the Duck Store using cash, credit, or department purchase order. View price list here.

PC with Manufacturer Warranty Coverage: The Duck Store technology department will refer you to the correct manufacturer support phone number. Please click here. The Duck Store can help facilitate these calls at the store, with the customer present.

PC with Safeware Extended Service Plan Coverage: The Duck Store will facilitate a mail-in repair/exchange claim to Safeware, for no out of pocket expense. Drop off 7 days a week at the Duck Store Technology department.

PC Computer with No Warranty Coverage: The Duck Store will facilitate intake for Pro-Tech Computer Services 7 days a week. All fees for Pro-Tech Computer Services may be paid at the Duck Store using cash, credit, or department purchase order. View price list here.
